My DH and I retired from Indiana to FL about 8 years ago.I am a new quilter - I've only just started my first pieced quilt (crib). Before this I've only done panels, which seemed the easiest way for me to begin. I love looking thru all the magazines and getting ideas. I find that quilting is good therapy for me - just close the doors and forget the world. Gotta get back to that quilt project - more later.

Welcome from Indiana! What part were you from?

We are from Indianapolis, and I really miss it. Port Charlotte, FL is "snoozeville". Anything you want in the way of entertainment is in Sarasota, Venice or Ft. Myers, which are all about 1 hour+ away from us. Here in PC they roll up the sidewalks at sundown. I'm not complaining, just glad not to have the daily grind any more.
