I found this site quite by accident, and what a very pleasant surprise. I look forward to learning a few things from members in here. Right now one of my pet projects is getting started on my first rag quilt. I have seen so many pretty ones online and in magazines, and I can't wait to get started on my very own. I've been sewing for about fifty some years on and off, and now that I am approaching retirement I find that I still like making things with my own two hands, and it's nice to have a little spare time again to indulge myself with something I love doing.
