I became a quilter 10 years ago when I retired due to disability and moved to a new community. I was dragged to a guild meeting by my new neighbor. Since then, I have become obsessed by quilting, having completed 430 quilts that are on my 'official' list. Most of my time now goes to making quilts for a local charity. Fortunately, my DH is supportive of both my quilting and of supplying quilts to children in out-of-home placements. In this small town, people stop me on the street to ask about my current projects. I love quilting, quilters and what my quilts can do.
