Morning! I'm Julie.
I Posted a few times and just realized that I forgot to introduce myself.
I am a wife and stay at home mother of two small children, and an animal lover. I don't quilt yet (due to impatience) but I think they are awesome. As a beginner sewer, I have made a few bags and have failed at a few skirts and dresses ;). I am fixing up a few antique sewing machines. I have one in working order, another in pieces for cleaning and a third on it's way here. There is just something about sewing with the old machines.
I'm easily distracted/bored (inspired??) and because of this I have several unfinished projects IE: crochet, macrame, crafting, woodworking/finishing etc. That's me in a nutshell. I look forward to being apart of this forum :)

Howdy and welcome, from Texas! Why not start with a small, simple quilt, for your kids? Stick with simple blocks and just have fun with it. :thumbup:
