hi everyone i am from georgia. i am a newbie to quilting. i have not quite a year yet. although i have only made clothes back in the day. so i am familiar with the sewing machine. although there are so many with all the new gadgets. i have only done the outlline quilting so far. i haven't tried to do piecing yet. it sounds and looks like alot of fun and so much to learn.
well i am also looking for a few different things to do. i am looking for a table top treeskirt, trick or treat bags, and quilted purse patterns. i hope someone out there maybe able to help. jeanette |
Hi Jeanette, welcome to the board. :D You found a good place to get your feet wet on piecing, sooo many helpful people here, lots of lessons in other posts, and very friendly people. Here are a few sites that came up in a search, mccalls has a lot of free patterns online, if you do not mind paying for a pattern, try your local quilt shop and they may have more of a selection as they have all the holiday fabrics and patterns in abundance now. Good Luck
