Hi! Welcome to the board. I might suggest that at least sometimes you meet after usual working hours or Saturdays. I'd love to join a group but our only one meets on Tuesdays during the day, so I can't get involved.

i'am setting up two groups 10:00am-2:00pm covered dish lunch for the older ladies and at night 7:00pm-9:00pm for persons that work.

I belong to a small group ( 6 people) that meets the first and 3rd Tues. of each month in our homes...taking turns. We started out with the hostess fixing lunch ( we meet from 10 am to about 3 pm), but soon decided to brown bag lunch and the hostess is responsible for drinks and dessert. We work on our own projects most of the time, but sometimes decide to do a few charity quilts. We exchange Christmas gifts ( $ 10 limit) during the season, give fat quarters for birthdays, and generally have become more like sisters, than friends. Sometimes we take a road trip to several quilt shops and have lunch for the day. We really enjoy our fellowship and fun.
