Welcome from Delaware! I can't help with pricing- I give most of my stuff away! This forum is a great place though- you may get some good ideas here. And that quilt you posted is GORGEOUS! Keep it up and show us more.

Quilt pricing is a hard subject to tackle. I used to be a coordinator for a woman's group (30.000 members, we have handicrafts shows, our rule-of-thumb was 3 times the cost of material for insurance purposes. We suggested to follow that rule when selling their handicraft. (The customer does not need to know if you got the material for free or if it is a pastime or you need the money).

I would like to add one more information, if you own a heirloom quilt or one you cannot part it. Have it appraised by a Certified Quilt Appraiser. The information to find one can be obtained through your local guild or the American Guild Society.

Hi just over the river in Altamont. I only sewed a quilt for money once. Not nearly as much fun as gifts. It is much more relaxing, for me that way. Welcome enjoy this board a lot.

Welcome from a former New Yorker.
Prices often depend on location.
No professional quilter I know tries to figure out costs; they charge by the square foot and it depends on what the traffic will bear, used to range $15-25/sq ft. Art quilts cost alot more.
Those are on-the-ground prices; if you're selling on the Internet check what quilts are going for at sites like E-bay
