Hello, I'm new..
Hello, My name is Evette. I am from Louisiana. I just recently joined this group and looking forward to being a part of this site. I do quilt and make blankets. I, also, crochet, but not too ornate yet lol.
Currently, I am on a mission to make blankets and quilts for children that have leukemia. My best friends son was diagnosed 2 years ago and I had made him a blanket for Christmas. Since then he has carried that blanket everywhere and calls it his "Angel" blanket. Well, another child saw it when he went for treatment and asked where he got it that he would love one. SO, I made the decision to make it my ministry to make blankets for these children. I am just starting out. I was given this site by a friend of mine to maybe be able to obtain fabrics for my projects. Any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading. Have a blessed day. |

Welcome from Colorado. My DH has Leukemia and it hurts my heart to think of the little children that have it. You are doing a wonderful thing. I don't have any fabric appropriate for your needs right now. I hope your local quilt guilds can help you or direct you to someone who can. Bless you and best wishes.
