I've loved quilts since ever since I can remember and the stories behind them. My sewing machine broke about 1 1/2 years ago and I've been away from quilting ever since (too expensive to fix.) I had withdrawal symptoms! I'm happy to say I'm looking for a feather weight.

I'm partial to scrap quilt and enjoy the freedom and all of the pretty fabric involved in one. The last quilt I completed was a queen size paper pieced pineapple quilt. This too was a scrap quilt with a dark purple background. It was a fundraiser quilt to benefit the Alzheimer's Association.

Now I'm having fun collecting denim for a rag quilt and so excited about it! When this quilt is done I'll make another raffle quilt but I promised my husband I'd make one for us to keep :)
