Hello fellow Quilters~

I wanted to introduce myself, I'm Donna a.k.a. Hindsight. I originally from NH, but I've been in the south for over 25 years. I took up sewing at an early age, and quilting in the last three. :D

I'm hooked for sure. I travel to NH every June and stay for 2 months. Usually visiting the Vermont Quilt Festival. I have also been to the Lancaster Show and this April I went to Paducha, KY for the first time. Where I met Ricky Tims, Elenore Burns and even took a class with Kaye Wood. WOW! Talk about quilters heaven!

I'd love to chat with anyone who can give me any tips on obtaining a client list for long arm services. I've also been throwing around the idea of Arts & Crafts Festivals. Reading about your experiences, good or bad, will help me in this decision making process.

Until then, Happy Stitching!

Welcome from central Alabama. I cannot offer much advice on starting a business. Perhaps a some local quilt shops and guilds would be willing to recommend you to their customers. You could offer to teach some classes for them or host a retreat.

Why don't you put some cards at your local quilt shops. When I need a long arm quilter, that is where I go or call for references.
