Welcome from Illinois. What a beautiful quilt! You aren't too far away from Danville, Illinois. You should come to a quilting retreat at Threads of Time. The next open retreat is this month--I think the third week, from Sunday afternoon until Thursday afternoon at $35 per night. Just bring whatever you want to work on, your machine, nightie and toothbrush. LOL The next one will be in September.

I still hope you can make one of the retreats. We have such fun. You can sew late at night, all night or early in the morning. You can sew 24 hours a day if you want. The beds are singles, 1, 2, 3, or 4 to a room but not crowded. Very comfortable place to stay and sew. They have huge cutting tables, 6 big cutting tables, 2 or 3 kitchens, showers, bathrooms, sitting areas, a yarn shop, an extensive fabric shop, and lots of tables to put machines on. You can even sew in your pajamas if you want (as long as you don't wear your baby-dolls into the store part.  )
