Welcome from W TX. My DD & family live in Jacksonville. They're church is in Jax beach. DSIL is in the Navy. My DGD & DGS (ages 4&3) are mad because they can't afford to come to TX this summer. I won't be able to go see 'em this year because I'm in the process of buying a house. Maybe next year!

Former Floridian. Born & raised in Orlando now in GA about 102 miles from Fl. line.

I don't do the heavy quilts anymore but when I did, not in the summer when it was so hot to hold on your lap as I did hand quilting. Now do lap quilts or wall hangings. ceiling fan and air cond going. Like to hand applique in the evening while watching tv show. If you live at the beach would rather get out and walk on the shore lines daily if I could. Happy quilting from Jacksonville.
