Good morning from Gainesville, FL, where the temperatures have finally got down to 40 degrees last night. I just love this quilting board and being inspired by so many gifted quilters. I enjoy looking at the beautiful items that my "new on-line friends" have shared.

Mardens is in Ellsworth Maine. Not sure where in ME you are moving to, but I know there are others around also. Saw one up North and there is one in Bangor also.

Also in South Portland -- I'm not sure about the Waterville store -- Whenever I go north or south, I try to make a stop.

And I even know where Eagle Lake is !!! not bad for a mid coast gal :-) :-)

Hi. Welcome to a fun site. It is just full of things to do. I like the swaps and the classifieds and seeing others' photos.

Where are you from? I live in Maryland.

Welcome from NC. I have such wonderful memories of Maine because when I was a kid, my family used to go camping up there (originally I am from NJ) every year. Even got to stop at LL Bean on the way to a campsite. We all had such a great time there hiking and swimming in the coldest water. First time I ever ate lobster was in Maine and I learned to swim in a very clear lake there. Enjoy your retirement!! As a school teacher, you earned it.
