I've started quilting about 10yrs ago. Made a memory quilt for my brother and his wife for their 25th. After that I've been hooked,LOL.
I saw an ad for a quilt show at work and went with my DH. He was so impressed with the Babylock embroidery machine he bought me one. How did I ever sew before???

Thanks for the welcome. The name I use is the same I use everywhere(unless it's taken). It's what my DH has called me every since we were dating 30 yrs ago.

I'm south of Charlotte, a little town of Olivet.

Not too far from me! :-) Years ago my sister & I used to go to Charlotte and do a 'Make It & Take It' around Christmas time, and I have no idea what place held it now. Sound familar at all to you? I wonder if they still hold it. You'd go around to different tables set up, and do an ornament, etc., for $1....
