New to quilting so am enjoying all the input from all of you. I love to fillet crochet, sew, machine embroidery and have recently gotten interested in quilting. I have done the fleece throws with the grand kids names embroidered, ragged quilts and now want to do something special for my granddaughter entering the Naval Academy in June. I want her to be able to wrap herself in my love when she needs a hug. I am thinking I want to make her a new one every year. Now to decide what pattern to use for her "Plebe year quilt? I am looking at a simple Bargello design.
I get so addicted to my hobbies, I can't believe I am starting another addiction. How do you spell ADHD? |
Welcome from Alabama. This is a great place to be, great quilting info from some of the nicest people I have never meet, but hope to someday. They will become like family in no time.
