Hey everyone. My name is Charity and I have been lurking on these forums for a few months now and figured I had better say hi. I tend to be kinda shy on forums, which is odd because I am extremely outgoing in real life.

I just started quilting in July and just finished my second quilt. I am absolutely hooked. I have done cross stitching and crocheting, and am finding that quilting is so much more satisfying in accomplishments than the other hobbies.

Anyway, I have seen many, many beautiful works done here and am grateful to become a part of this community. Thanks and nice to "meet" you.

Hello, and welcome from Missouri! Now I have to find my map again and locate Ramsey! I was born in Detroit Lakes, but moved to Milwaukee when I was 7 so I missed out on Minnesota geography!

pvquilter 11-12-2009 09:11 AM

Hi and Welcome from Anoka! We are probably within shouting distance of each other!

Heck, atleast the same highway, 47 is at my doorstep.

Ramsey is the most northwestern suburb of the Twin Cities you can get.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone, glad to be here.

Welcome,, you'll love it here. I'm from Blaine, so we don't live that far from each other. There are alot of other MN people on here to.

We are close, I'm right off St Francis. In fact, two blocks north and I'd be in Ramsey.

Wow, tons of MN folks and midwest people here.

MNQuilter, we live maybe two miles apart. I live right up by bills if you know where that is.

Deb G, I graduated from Blaine High School and grew up right across the street in Coon Rapids.

What a small world. :)
