Hi! I'm cautiously wading in here. I've been on the "Quilter's Club of America" forums and know that these can be addicting and eat up a lot of our quilting time. This looks to be a very active group. I'm still sort of a newbie quilter, but I'm retiring soon and hope to have lots more time for my new favorite hobby!

Hello and welcome from Missouri. You've found the right place--so much info available here and the nicest, friendliest people anywhere. I spend too much time here, but I look at the bright side; the Quilting Board has cured my Facebook habit! :)

When you want info about almost anything, use the "Search" at the top of the page, and you'll find more interesting comments than you'll have time to read. ;)

welcome from your southern neighbor. Wouldn't it be funny if you lived next door to a MN relative of mine? I think you will find it addicting but has so many great things to offer it is worth the time.

Hello and welcome from Alexandria, Mn. You have come to an excellent forum and I think you will be pleased with finding help and friendship here. We are planning a MEET & GREET here in ALEXANDRIA the weekend of November 6th. If you would like to attend, send me a PM. We'll be visiting quilt shops, sharing meals together, and have fun getting to know each other. Depending on interest, it could be a weekend get together. If you reply, let me know what your interest/preference is. I've created a topic on it so you can check it there too. Hope to see you there.

Welcome from Texas.

Welcome aboard! I have family members who have a cabin on Spirit Lake in your neighborhood. Our DDILs are from Apple Valley and Andover. Our sons live in Plymouth and Eagan with their families.

It's a small world. I treasure Minnesota and enjoy visiting. The state reminds me of the Upper Peninsula in many respects, except for the traffic in Mpls. and St. Paul:)

Hope you'll like it here and continue to post ideas.
