Hey that would be cool! The next time I come though, my hubby and two kids will probably be with me. We are with a barter company and do some work up in that area. We own a sign business. I'll let you know when we are in town again.

Do you ever go to Quilters Cottage or Quilting in the Carolinas? I've been to Quilters Cottage before. Very nice but pricey.

Sew Many Common Threads, Viking dealer. Renee, shop owner is a very nice person, her shop is fun to shop at. Accent Sewing in Murrel Inlet is a nice shop, they are Bernina dealer.

What is wrong with Quilting in the Carolina's? I was looking up quilt shops in Myrtle Beach and just happened to see them listed. To be honest, I had No idea that there were so many quilt shops. I thought only Quilters Cottage existed. lol. Who is the cheapest would you say?

Price wise they all are about the same. I shop at Quilters Cottage and Sew Many Common Threads. Both places are friendly and helpful

Sewing in the Carolinas totally ruined my sewing machine. I ask them to just look at the tension, not to do anything to the machine. Well they burned up the mother board. It cost me over $800.00 to get my machine repaired. The store owner and manager refused to be responsible for any cost. I had to take my machine to a shop in Greenville, SC to be repaired. That is the reason I will not shop nor recommend this shop.

Wow, I would have been highly upset about that one! Thanks for your advice on the shops. I'll let you know when we are back that way so we can meet. It will be nice to have a friend in Myrtle Beach since I come there often.
