Hello, we are from NC, new to machine quilting. I'm helping my wife with getting this going. Any ways we have a little gracie and are green as gourds.

Welcome E56! We can't wait to see what you do on your gracie! I'm still a newbie and lucky to have any machine that runs...let alone a gracie!

Looking forward to seeing what you can do!

elemental56, Welcome to the board. There are a few of us that have Gracie frames & one suggestion I'll make is to start out with a couple of sheets or whole cloth with some thin batting (like warm & natural). Practice some of the patterns & some free motion stippling or meandering. It's easier to practice on whole cloth & get a little practice in before you start on a quilt that you have hours into just making the top. Hope that helps?! Any specific questions...just ask away & someone here should be able to help you. :D
