Welcome from northeast Nebraska, in between Sioux City, IA and Yankton, SD. Sewed garments most of my life; been quilting since about 1984 and to date still haven't put together a quilt of my own....they are still just blocks!!! Have one quilt I made for Mom's 90th b'day in 2006; she died in 2007 so now have it back. Have made a church raffle quilt every years since 1987; made many baby and queen quilts and pillows, table runners and etc. for gifts; now am retired and hopefully I'll soon have a quilt of my own to display (with matching curtains, too. You wil love this board as everyone is so helpful.

My son is a duck hunter and I was thinking of a wall hanging in a nine patch, with a flying duck in the middle of the square. I have a vision but I will have to play it by ear.
