Hello from Nevada
 

I just recently joined, and I just recently moved from Montana to Nevada. We moved to a very rural location in northern Nevada where I just can't go out the back door and run down to the quilt shop three blocks away, so I thought this would be the next best way to share and exchange ideas with other quilters. I have been into sewing for over 50 years and really into quilting the last five years. Besides having a love for material and designing my own creations, I also like sewing machines. Each machine has its own personality and offers something different from the next one. I just bought a like new old Bernina 801 Sport, which is a smaller version of my old 830, at a garage sale for $50.00. It runs like a charm. I also just purchased a PFAFF Passport 2, which I would love to talk to someone about, who has one. My new sewing room is extremely small, and a challenge for storing my stash of material and machines; however, it is beginning to come together and feel like my creative space.
