Welcome, and waving to you from Virginia

Howdy & welcome from Texas. I think sometimes you just fall into a new level without even knowing it. After I started quilting I started needing more challenges so I would learn new things/techniques that I had never done before. Each time I made a quilt I would try to incorporate something new to me in it. Eventually I think I moved from beginner quilter to intermediate quilter and right now I am very happy where I am at.

Welcome from central Florida! You'll enjoy all the information you'll learn here. I've quilted since 1976, but still continue to learn.

Thank you for the warm welcome from your corner of the stitching world! Guess I'm in then if we are counting "stash". Always fun to find (or just pet) a new fabric. My closet is full and bins are full so all set in this little corner.
Happy Stitching! |
Welcome from Pa. So very nice to have a room of ones' own. As far as progressing, you will know as you feel confident in the techniques you learn and you don't have to learn everything thing that comes along. Practice basic techniques and from there you can challenge yourself to learn other things. Remember there is no perfect, but there is happy. If you are happy with your creations, that is what counts.
