I have family in Keene and Ackworth, NH. It's a really beautiful state.

Lots of people have been asking about the quilt in my avatar. It's a table topper called Center Stage, put out by Pieced Tree Patterns. The pattern is a little laminated card, about 3 1/2" X 5 1/2" with a picture of the quilt on the front side and the fabric requirements and directions on the other side. They have several patterns, most are table toppers and all are pretty easy. The patterns are less than $5.00 each.

I love this pattern and was making many of them, so I have been playing with the design. The original is octagonal shape and has a solid piece of fabric for the center. I made some square and have put stars and other shapes in place of the solid middle piece.
