Hello from New Hampshire
Hello from the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire where we are having our first snow of the season tonight... which is, of course, an excellent reason to work on a warm quilt! :sew: |
Welcome from Ontario, Canada.
|
Welcome from snowy South Dakota where it is now -17 degrees with 7 inches of snow!
|
welcome from southeastern PA. We actually had snow today, well early this evening. Yesterday is was really warm, today was a little colder, but as the day went on it got really cold and around 4pm it started raining and by 6pm it was a mix of snow and rain then just snow, but I believe the ground is too warm for it to actually leave us with a blanket of white even though my sisters grandson thinks they will cancel school tomorrow -- good luck with that!!

Welcome from So California! I lived over 20 years in NH (Londonderry and Hampton) and climbed Mt Monadnock every year along with a season pass at Pats Peak. Miss the snow! Stay warm and quilt on!

Hi Deb,
welcome to the board from another NH quilter! |
Welcome from Vermont. We share the same snow.

Hi Deb,
Welcome to QB from another Monadnock Region quilter. (I live between Nashua and Jaffrey). WBZ calls this a snow storm? Where is it? Only my BBQ has snow on it and I live on top of a hill, so we usually get clobbered! LOL Winter will arrive soon enough. Again, welcome! |
Welcome from western NY and happy quilting :)
|
Awwww... what a lovely warm welcome! Thanks so much everyone!
|
Hi from Cape Cod! You will love this Board, so many good ideas and helpful advice!
|
Welcome from Michigan!:)

:) welcome from se TX -- snow?? not around here, I hope, as we don't cope well with cold and wet -- this is one of our first days of winter and it may not have gone below freezing last night despite forecasts of lows just under 30 degrees -- but yes, a good time for quilting!!

Hello Deb, welcome from northern California!

Welcome from OHIO!

Hi and welcome to the QB from PA. I saw Monadnock and had to respond. I used to vacation there and love climbing Mt. Monadnock. My gang of friends would meet at the Fitzswilliam Inn and spend Halloween week enjoying the NH countryside. The Pumpkin Festival was celebrated every year at the end of our stay. One year they set the world record for carved and lit pumpkins, over ten thousand. What a sight that was in the center of Keene.
What fun and happy memories. Have fun here and show us your quilts when you can. peace |
Welcome from sunny Queensland, Australia. We are having a heat wave, and that doesn't stop me working on a nice quilt! Lol!
