Hello from new member

Hi everyone! I'm Kelly, and I'm a newbie at this forum.
I'm from London, UK.
I like sewing, knitting, cooking, and reading books. I also like pets and have 2 dogs and a cat.
I find this forum wonderful and think I can learn more here. Glad to be a new member.
Have a great day!

Hello from Seattle, Washington, a bit south of British Columbia, Canada. Welcome to the boards, sounds like we share a number of interests. I'm currently up to 3 dogs and down to 1 cat, and am relearning to knit. Cooking is something I wish my waistline and other issues would allow me to do more of -- I used to love to bake and now I'm not really allowed carbs much less glorious baked goods!

I used to be an avid reader but I have vision issues and now I listen to audio books -- the nice thing about that is I can quilt at the same time and so do two avocations at once!

Welcome Kelly...you’re gonna love the QB and its creative and talented members.

My husband and I spent 5 days in London October 2018 before we took the train to Edinburgh and I fell in love with London. We spent two weeks in Scotland but I hope to get back to London again someday.

Welcome from southwest Michigan. Yup, I am an hour from Lake Michigan and in the middle of farm country. YUM! The QB is a wealth of knowledge and don't be shy about asking questions. We have all been there and acknowledge our lack of knowledge now and again. Wander the site as you are hiding out to be safe and then post pictures of your sewing, quilting, reading and pet adventures. Photos are grand.

Another welcome from Washington state. I am about 50 miles north of Seattle.
How is the virus affecting your area? I am prepared to bake all the bread we eat for two months if necessary. It is a staple and not as bad for you as those sweets we shouldn't have, but I'm well stocked with sugar and honey, too.
