Hello! From North Carolina
Hey y'all!!
I'm Erika and I'ma brand new quilter (I just learned how to sew in December!) and am very proud of the mere 3 quilts I've completely finished. I tend to take on far too many projects and keep my crafting room (I also knit, crochet and scrapbook) a complete disaster at all times. As I have no friends or family members who quilt, I'm really excited to start being part of the community here! |

There are a lot of ladies and men that know their stuff and are willing to help you any way they can. If you have questions about anything ask. They will be sure to give you the best advice available.

Welcome from Norfolk Va. I don't know if you know it or not but this month the sewing/quilt expo is in Raleigh. I'm going down to stay with a friend and we are signed up for classes in fabric dyeing, FMQ and other types of quilting, cutting and all for beginners; my friend is just getting back into this so I figured we both could use that one. Me to brush up on skills that have been learned and not taught and also beginning machine quilting. We also get to chose a free class once we are there. It's a great place to pick up pointers, meet new people and see the latest gadgets.
