:thumbup: Hello everyone! Today is my birthday & thought I would treat myself & join the quilting forum! I have been quilting since I was a young girl (about 6 or 7) but in earnst for about 25 years or so. It's my escape & relaxation in my hectic life! I'm supposed to be semi-retired but now find myself raising a grandchild who is an absolute doll! She is just 3 & all ready interested in sewing & qulting. I look forward to teaching her all I know & learning more alongside of her!
I am also looking forward to learning lots of interesting things from all of you!
A little about me away from quilting... I'm a professional pastry chef, chocolatier & hot line chef & LOVE cooking & baking! Where am I going for my birthday dinner? Pizza Hut! :-D

Your granddaughter is a real cutie. Where in Montana do you live? If you don't mind me asking. That's one of the reasons we moved to where we did, wanted no people but close to town and in CA(husbands rule).

Oooh, if I lived near you-- well, this time of year I'd probably be stuck in the house all winter because I've driven in snow and it wasn't any fun. Grew up in non-snow part of California. Other than that, my taste buds would be very happy!

Here is another picture with our other cat Bodacious. 32 pounds of muscle & fur! Biggest cat on record for our county... So far! LOL

My son thinks we're past the boonies in Alturas. We like it though. Best place to be, the boonies.LOL

Our closest neighbor is 3 miles away as the crow flies... You can't see another house from our house. Tell your son we think he lives in "town" LOL
