I have been working with quilt patches for about two years. I still won't call myself a quilter because I only make small projects like purses and wall hangings of simple patterns. What most of you do I call art quilts and I find them rather intimidating. I have started taking classes to learn more blocks and am excited about that. Most recently I made a "twister" bedspread of scrap materials. I know myself well enough to stick to smaller projects than this!

There is so much to learn here. Many thanks to all who participate.

Welcome Patty, nice job on your quilt, what did you used to tie it? I usually use embroidery floss, all six strands. Did you do some machine quilting also? It's nice to put the two together.
