I am much warmer here in St. Louis, although today we are just at the freezing point. So far we have not had to shovel winter!

Hi Linda, I'm about 35 miles west of Bismarck ND, in a small town called New Salem. We are known for the World's Largest Holstein Cow statue...Salem Sue LOL.

Hey, and welcome from South Louisiana. Brrrrr, and a "warm" welcome it is today. We had 38 degrees this morning, waiting for colder tomorrow morning (perhaps in the twenties.).. That is sooooo cold for us.

I had a co-worker (teacher) from South Dakota. She lived and worked here many years. She loved our weather. Now she's back in Wall, SD. I wish I could have given her the quilting bug while she was here. I hear from her two or three times a year. Just talking about the snow makes me cold.

We had a little taste of it in December (all 3 hours of it!). It was the first time since 1988. People were out scraping snow off the grass to build a snowman before it melted. :lol:

You will love this group people on the board. The nicest people you would ever want to know. So helpful and kind. I have learned so much from them.
