Hello for North Georgia

This is me. I am having a time learning how to use this site. But anyway, Hey! I have been quilting for about 10+ years. I hate to waste fabric so I save pieces that many folks might toss. I have made quilts from patterns and some from just imagination. This is one made from small scraps that I refused to throw out. I call it a "Waste Not, Want Not" quilt. I have a garden in the Summer and quilt after gardening is finished for the: season. But I always seem to be quilting in between the tomatoes and green beans. I live in North West Georgia. I sew on a Bernina 440QE and free motion quit on a Tin Lizzie. I have recently started to try templates, which is challenging. Here is one of my Waste Not quilts.

I am also in NW Georgia. And I love scrappy quilts and save some pretty small pieces too. I collect a few vintage machines but sew mainly on my Pfaff 2030, even quilting large quilts on it. Are you in a quilt guild? There are several in my area. Welcome!
