Hello From Northern California
I came across this board while trying to find a manual for Morse 4300 that was given to me today. I'm relatively new to quilting and am looking forward to building my skill set.
I live in Mendocino county California. |
Welcome from western NY and happy quilting :)

Welcome from Maine...I used to live in California (for 37 years) and moved to Maine about 10 years ago. We visit California a few times a year as my son works for CalFire and lives in Vacaville. We were just there in December and in Mendocino this past Spring. We love to stay at the Little River Inn and visit the quaint shops in Mendocino. There’s a cute fabric shop in your neck of the woods...maybe it’s in Fort Bragg?

Howdy, I'm a couple states north of you, here in soggy Seattle.
I don't know that model off hand, but back when I used to buy and recondition sewing machines for a charity, I loved finding a Morse. Good solid machines. Until November I've used a Remington, a similar machine for the last 20 years. A friend of mine gave me a nice modern Bernina "Sewing Computer" and I've been learning how to use it. Just finished watching the BSR (Bernina Stitch Regulator) video and about to make a quilt sandwich and do some practice. I have a number of small tops that would love to be finished. Here's a link I found. http://www.japaneseclass15.com/2018/...ewing-machine/ |

Hi and welcome from almost underwater North Carolina! It has been raining and dark here without stop since a few days after Christmas. We are quickly becoming completely water-logged! :(
