I have been reading this for almost a year now. I have admired all the quilts on here. I am new to quilting and will not show the few quilts I have made because they are horrible compared to what you all do. I finally decided to join so I could comment on some of the spectacular quilts I have seen. I am disabled now so I have lots of time to learn to quilt (when my back and hands let me). Everyone is so wonderful and encouraging on this board. You make anybody feel like they could do anything they put their mind to. Thank you all so much.

I've read it lots of times here that there are NO quilt police. You came to a good place. We all love to quilt and it's so much fun sharing with everyone. My quilts aren't the best either but I enjoy quilting and that's a good thing.

Welcome aboard! You CAN do it. I have become a pro using the seam ripper and I am sure I am not alone there. I keep going and learning along the way. Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy!

Welcome from Oklahoma with a Massachusetts accent. So happy you could be here. There is always room for one more quilter.

Hello and welcome from SW Iowa. Glad to have you here. Don't be afraid to show your quilts. We would love to see them. You are your worst critic.

Welcome from Wisconsin! I read so many topics and love to see all the quilts too. You will love it here! Trust me, I felt the same way about ever showing a quilt because I was afraid mine weren't good enough, but everyone is so kind. I agree with littlehud, you are your worst critic! My 1st wall hanging that I ever made has a huge oops in the middle. But anyways, most people never even notice the pucker until I point it out, so guess what, I won't tell anyone anymore and they think it is nice! :)
