Hi, so glad to have found the Quilter's Message Board! I have quilted off and on (more off) for the last 7 years. I am lucky enough to have a PCQuilter and an HQ16 on a handiquilter frame. I purchased it used on ebay in late 2009 and drove all the way to Northern Wisconsin from Ohio to pick it up. It is a blast finishing off my own quilts at home. I learned to quilt from my mother and grandmother and am thrilled to carry on a family tradition. I am a nurse by trade. Married with no kids. My DH and I own a small farm and have been working to restore it. We just rehabbed a chicken coop and have 13 hens and 1 awesome rooster. It has been tons of fun. I also like to cook in the winter months and garden all spring and summer. I favor any plants that attract hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies to my garden. Thanks for letting me bounce ideas and gain knowledge here on the forum!
