new to quilting. I started about 2 years ago and still there is so much to learn. I will take any tips you have to dish out. I learn from mistakes -- believe me! :)

Welcome peachrose, Your from the (Gooseberry Patch) state, I have a lrg collection of their books, been collecting for the last 12 yrs, and still buy them to add to my collection. I love their books and have made many things out of them. My DIL loves them as well. She now buys them and my collection will be hers one day. The older the book the better the ideas.

Hello and Welcome to the friendlisty quilting site in the world. We all love quilting and eveyone here is very helpful and we all learn from our mistakes. I know that the seam ripper is always handy for me and I use it more than I'd like. Jump right in and enjoy.

Hi Peachrose and Sally, You have found a great place for learning a lot about quilting! So glad that you found us and joined! When you have some time check out the picture threads and browse some of the other catagories.... lots of info everywhere. Do ask questions, there is usually atleast one answer or solution offered. :D

Morning and welcome to you Peachrose and Sally,
Glad to have you join us!! You will find lots of answers to questions by using the search at the top of the page, or by putting a question on the main forum board, we tend to read that first. Us oldtimers, that is. The more information you put about a question, the easier to answer.

Do join our chats, we love talking whether about quilting, gardening, cooking, or our local areas.

Happy Quilting,
Sharon
