Hi - I have been lurking here for a while...and love looking at all your pictures! The Sun Bonnet Sue quilt top, which sparked my interest in quilting, was made by my mother - law's grandmother for her when she was a baby. It was given to me when my daughter was born 23 years ago. I am now hand quilting it, and working on other projects, and collecting fabric! I also work as an elementary school librarian, and am now off for the summer - yippee! Time to work on those projects!

Thanks! Yes, I work at the Meiners Oaks Elementary School, and love my job, but it is really nice to have the break. It would be easy to burn out on it.
I am looking forward to quilting. Teresa |

Welcome from Pine Grove, CA!
(BTW, I LOVE children's books and am embarassed to admit that when I retired from Special Ed PreK brought home a huge number of boxes of books that I had bought for my class. Being a Librarian must be fun!) |
