Hello from Oklahoma!
Hello to all you quilters! I started quilting in 2008 quite by accident. I asked a friend how to clean a beautiful old quilt I had inherited. She sent me to our local quilt shop to ask them. I went to the shop and got my question answered. While there, I started looking around at all the beautiful fabric. I asked if they gave quilting lessons. The rest is history!! A friend of mine in our quilt guild told me about this board. I am just now figuring out how to use it :)

Welcome from the beautiful mountains of western NC. Both my grandmothers quilted (but not my mom!!), so when I retired from teaching, I took classes and have enjoyed quilting off and on since. You will learn many things from this board.

Welcome from Maryland! For an immediate answer to a quilting question, this can't be beat (I use the "search" - something relevant has probably been posted before) and feedback just a day away isn't bad either.
