Hello everyone,
I'am been sewing for years but never actually made a pieced quilt. Then Blackfriday came and the Accuquilt was on sale at JoAnns, so I deceided to just jump in. You ladies were right they had ONE, but I got it. So now, I need help on what would be the most useful die's to buy first. There so many, in the starter sets, it confusing as what goes with what? I've already picked up lots of hints but I know when I actually start piecing there will be more quesitons. I have lots of scraps and I want to make star's. You ladies and gents are so helpful, I know this is the place to be. |

Welcome from Skiatook, OK. I also got one of the Accuquits from Joann's!!! I have purchased several dies on Ebay, along with extra cutting mats. So, far, I haven't really done anything with them, it's my Christmas from hubby and it's under the tree. boo hoo. But, as far as the new dies, he has no idea about them. Good thing I get to the mail box before him. lol

Welcome from Edmond OK. I know people who love the Accuquilt, but I haven't bought one. Let us know what you think of it and what is the most useful die.. I think I would use the one that you can cut 2 1/2 inch strips the most, but who knows.

Hello and welcome Lakelady. I know you will like this board. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Of course Okies already are! I still use the rotary cutter or tear strips occasionally.
|
I love the Quilting Board, all of it.. I can't believe how many ladies are from Oklahoma. I'm from Edmond where we are getting much needed rain, sounds so good..thunder, lightning, rain.. I just recently got the Baby Go, can't wait to work with it.
