Nice to see so many Canadians, and Ontarions here .... and now a farmer too! Maybe I should have asked that question initially too.

We used to dairy farm, til I had to wind the operation down while my husband was ill. My ♥ is still there!

You're all terrific!

Good News ... my new Stained Glass is now assembled. Tomorrow when my brain is a little clearer, I'll do the borders, being that I have to scrimp and save every inch to make it work!

Hello and welcome from Minnesota!

QuiltE 04-07-2011 07:38 AM

Some were asking for the details on this pattern.

Sorry I've been so long getting back to you with the details. I kept forgetting to bring the pattern from my sewing room to the computer!

Here's the info .......
Strip Clubbing … Fast and Easy Quilts with 2-1/2” Strips
Perfect for Jelly Rolls
ISBN 978-0-9798316-0-6
Published By Cozy Quilt Designs

The pattern is Stained Glass and is the cover picture on the book.
There’s lots of other great patterns in the book too!

Welcome from beautiful British Columbia!!! I love your avatar quilt. Thanks for giving us the pattern/book name. I just watched a tut on YouTube on tube quilts. They look like fun and I'll have to try one after I get some UFOs out of the way! I know you will enjoy this board - there are so many wonderful, helpful quilters here!

It's really easy to do ... and somewhat boring.
One of the patterns I like to do when I want to sew, but my brain is not in gear!

Ell .... That's the joy of the tube construction technique. You just sew WOF strips together. Tube them, and then cut large triangles which create the tiny ones!

 It's.All.Easy.Peasy
