HI, I'm Wendy, even if it says ZaneyZelda, I just use that name because no one else usually uses it on sites :) but i am a bit zaney, even tho I'm 64 :) I've sewn for 52 years, but just started piecing quilt tops, baby quilts. I haven't quilted one yet. I have 3 Shihtzu doggies and 2 cats and 2 grown kids and 5 grands ages 8 and under and all siblings ! I was in Santa Barabara, California, USA for my first 20 years. I am a retired elem. and preschool teacher and a Jesus lover :) :D:cool: I'm looking for some who use the viking D1 machine, to ask some questions....................... happy sewing

Hi Wendy (aka Zaney Zelda), Welcome from CT. I don't have a Viking D1 but we have 4 married kids, 12 grands, 1 pampered Min. Schnauzer and Jesus is our guide.

Welcome from the beautiful mountains of western NC. We have 3 sons and 4 grandchildren, two of whom we have had custody for 10+ years! I have my mom's 1949 Singer treadle, a portable Kenmore from about 1970, and a Bernina. I started quilted in 2000, but haven't done much in the past three years with hip replacements, rotator cuff surgery, etc., etc. I, too, love the Lord. I am currently I doing Bible Study Fellowship which I love. Again, welcome.
