Welcome Sarah, I'm from Florida also, close to Daytona. Do you know there's a Quilt show in Jacksonville from Sept 22 to 24th in the Prime Osborn Center. This is a great show to see since your just getting started.

Palatka is about 50 miles south of Jacksonville. Our little city is on the St. Johns River centrally located between Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Gainesville. Nice to meet you from Ft. Myers! Have a beautiful day! :-D

Hi Finch, where are you in Deltona? Do you know we have a New Quilt Shop in Orange City!! Accent on Quilting it's a wonderful shop & they also do Long Arm there.

I'm counting the days till Quiltfest, lived in nJax Bch for 30 yrs, I'm a Jaguar Fan also. I see there's no classes this year at the show.

Hi Judi, Go Jaguars!! I did not notice no classes at the Quilt Fest, have you ever taken one there I have not. I wish they had more places to park your butt I get so tired up and down all those wonderful vendors LOL Do you belong to quilt group at the beaches? We have a quilt/sewing group at library on Chaffee Rd on Mondays that I belong to. Enjoy the Fest next week. Marge
