Hi Robin,
Welcome! I am in Shapleigh, Maine. I caught the bug last year. I don't get on this list as often as I would like to. So far I think I am the closest to quilter to you that responded so far anyway. (smile) We could get together sometime. I am probably an hour away. =)

Welcome Robin.
I can tell that photo wasn't taken in the last few days. LOL I talked with family in Maine tonight and snow, snow and more snow tomorrow. I live in Maine part of the year but further up the coast, just outside of Belfast.
Don't miss the cold & snow. I also am fairly new to this quilting bug but certainly have it. This is the nicest group, everyone is so encougaging and kind. Welcome

Hi from Damariscotta Maine. We have a couple of things in common... I just started quilting again (after having taken quilting in high school 30 years ago) I am 48 and just moved back to Maine a couple of years ago. While you have probably learned a lot in the last 6 years, I have a lot to re-learn and am excited about all the new quilting tools that seem to make the task more enjoyable and more efficient.

I was in Portland today running errands for my business. Are there any great quilting shops in Portland? Where do you find most of your fabric and tools?

Happy quilting... Joanne

Welcome from Michigan. I have a tuxedo cat too. Found her on my front porch after church one Sunday. LuLu was so sick, she would have died if she hadn't found her way to our porch. DH says an angel put her there.

Hey! Another Mainer joins the Board! Whooo hoo! Welcome. Sounds like my story might match up really close to yours. It's so fun and I love this board, because of all the great ideas, advice and HUMOR. It's just a great place to be.

Oh... and I love your tuxedo kitty! How dapper!
