Hello to our Aussie newbie! I've been a member for only a short time but I find all of the quilters to be helpful, friendly, and so supportive.
we saw Australia ring in the new year on the news last night. Wow! What fireworks. We, as of yet, have to ring in 2010 but how's it going so far?
So, Happy New Year and welcome.

New Years eve in Victoria, Australia was approx. 100 degrees F. followed by thunderstorms and rain.

New Years Day has dawned cooler and clear.

Hope it is just as good in Qld. and everywhere else.
