Hi, I am Toogie and I love sewing, embroidering (machine or by hand), quilting (hand or machine), smocking and making baby garments, crochet.....well just about anything I can learn-lol I have 3 grown and married children, with 11 grand children, 1 great grandchild and 2 on the way. I love the three 'F's" God the Father, Family and Fabric!-lol And I guess you could say I like to joke and be light hearted. I have so far made 3 Queen size quilts, a throw I just finished and plan to post, several baby quilts. I guess you could say I'm still learning if I can still count them. I plan on learning a lot from this site and each of you. Have a great day-Toogie

Can someone tell me why my photos will not load. I reduced some and it still says failed....

Toogie, I haven't figured out why some of my pictures load and others don't and I apparently don't take very good pictures. I thought the modern cameras would help me but apparently not! Thanks for trying, we'll get it figured out eventually.

Welcome from Maine. I'm a newbie to this forum and any forum for that matter. I feel your pain in uploading pictures. I'm somewhat technology challenged so even after reading the very clear and informative help section on how to upload pictures I too still get some that fail, and the why behind it is beyond me. Enjoy the forum, I've already learned alot and have put some of what I've learned into motion improving my love of quilting.

For pictures to load here they need to be *very* small. I use my Iphone to take pictures, and I have to reduce them down to just 25% of the original size in order to post them here. Good luck, we'd love to see your work!

BTW, the "Pictures" section is only for quilting-related photos. All else can be posted in the "Chit Chat" section.

I have uploaded 2 posts with photos. If interested I can do more-lol- they are in Chit-Chat

As I told Iceblossum I have now succeeded in uploading photos in the Chit-Chat section.
