Welcome from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Yes, techniques have changed from the mid-seventies to mid-eighties. I find quilting much more enjoyable with the easier techniques. As far as machine quilting goes, I will be reading the responses that you will be getting. I am new to free motion quilting on my Viking sewing machine. We are happy that you have joined the board :-) Piecefully yours, Kay Susan |

Good Morning Everyone! :)
Thank you so much for the warm welcome to the board. I think I might have found my favorite place to visit on the web for quiting friends. yippee! I have searched around to some of the different sites and many of them are so dead it hardly can be called a message board. Some of the posts are days and even weeks old. Well I think that is too boring for anyone to endure. So you can understand my excitment at finding Quilting Board so active and alive. I am pretty excited about it all, so, I might become a pest reading and posting on all of the topics to begin with. I hope you don't get tired of me. Ha ha ha .... I will try and contain myself. Thanks again for being so fun and kind here. Looking forward to being a regular poster. Sharing the hopes and dreams of my quilting buddies. |
Please check , I have sent you a PM
