Hi and welcome from MA. Besides the QB, which is extremely helpful and I get lots of inspiration from it, you might try to find a local quilt shop or quilt guild to take classes.

There is a very nice quilt shop in downtown Richmond, right on Main Street. I have found taking classes at lqs are better than taking from ones that are offered by professionals from guilds for two reasons. 1) They are cheaper and 2) which I found very important, is if you need help the lqs is always willing to help you. In fact most of the lqs will help even if you did not take a class from them.
