Hi, my name is Ashley. I'm new to this forum. Also kind of new to quilting. Both of my grandmothers quilt. Well, not my 90 yr old one anymore. But I watched them all of my life and now I've journeyed into the quilting world too. It started about 2.5 years ago when I decided I was too old to ask my, younger, granny to make a baby quilt for me to give to a friend. I had already fooled around making pillows and fixing clothes but nothing too complicated. Since then, I've made five, small, quilts. No help or instruction. Just started cutting and sewing. Thankfully, they all turned out great. Soon, I'm going to get a pattern and venture past squares. Lol. I look forward to reading tips and things on this site. Thanks!
