Hi fellow quilters,

I just found your forum today and MUST stop in and say hello. My name is Martina and I live with DH Pat, 2 dogs and 2 cats outside of Sacramento. I have been quilting since the early '90s and my stash runneth over. Currently I have two quilts pinned and rolled ready to quilt, one ready to be assembled and I won't say how many UFOs :?

Looking forward to getting to know this quilting community.

Martina

Hi Martina--welcome to the board from GA. Glad to have you with us.

I started counting UFOs the other day....and gave up when I hit 20!!!

We love pics here--would you post some of yours?

So glad you joined! Yes, we'd love to see pictures! Once you get familiar with the board, you'll find that we delight in pictures of quilts that are done, nearly done, sandwhiched together, each block, the sashing, the pieces cut up, the fabric when you first bought it. . . I think you get the idea?!?

Also, of anything else that you love or interests you!

So-- welcome from the SF Bay area!

Welcome from NE CA. Glad you joined us. We love pictures, doesn't have to be quilts only. I think most of us have stash overload, although few of us would admit it.LOL

Welcome, Martina. Don't be too hard on yourself for ripping out 72 1/2 inches of strips...happens to the best of us. No whuppin coming from this direction. Glad you joined our group. Lots to learn and everyone is so helpful and friendly. You'll like it here.

Hi Martina- I'm pretty new to this forum too. I really like it and I think hope you will too. :D I'm up here in Northern Ca. ( Siskiyou county) so we're practically neighbors....
I only have one UFO left, but only because I had to give them all away before I moved up here from Ventura area. That's cheating I guess.....

miss thimble 04-09-2009 11:25 AM

Hi Martina- is this superhero your DH?

lol - that's way north. I can never move because my UFO stash is too large, and growing.

Yep! He is a mixture between Tigger, a Boy Scout, and Don Quixote. The worst is he's a morning person. :D
