I'm very happy to be joining a group like yours. We moved to C.C. 8 years ago believing what everyone always told us "it never snows on C.C." I think it's been snowing every since we moved down here from 80 miles north of here. I'm always sewed during the years that we raised 3 boys and 2 girls but had never tried quilting. However I told myself when I retire I will buy a new sewing machine and start taking classes. Best thing I ever did. I'm made 2 quilts in 2 years (a little slow) but really love it. I know I'll learn much more belonging to this Quilting Board.

Hi from Ohio!

I live in W. Yarmouth, not too far from Bayberry Golf Course.
Finally got the picture of my first quilt on line. The cranberry colored border is where the quilt ends. It is sitting on another comforter which makes it look bigger.

Never snow in CC? Someone lied. lol! Wecome to the Board! I just started quilting and have several unfinished projects and only two finished quilt tops. lol.. so you're not alone! This is a great place to ask questions, although I have found that if I search the Board for my topic, someone else has already asked my question! It's awesome!

Wecome... snow or no snow! (I'm in south florida... it's only snowed here twice in 50 years...lol).
