Hi, I am new to quilting. I live in Jackson Co. Ohio and I just started my first quilt yesterday. It's a very easy pattern and I have the top already done! :) It's just a throw sized quilt because I didn't want to get overwhelmed and quit half way through it. If it turns out, it will go to my grand daughter- AKA: Cupcake ;) Looking forward to getting to know you all and learn some tips.

Welcome to the board. I'm in Columbus and I try to get down to the Dairy Barn when they have a quilt show. I've been to a few of the Quilt Nationals and the antique Amish quilt show in 2010. Have you been to the ones at the Dairy Barn?

Dairy Barn is just outside of Athens OH -it is a cultural arts center for Athens.
