Hi, everyone!! I am a 33 year old full-time college student who only recently started sewing. I am working on my first hand quilted quilt, still piecing the blocks together. I plan to do this quilt 100% by hand and if I enjoy the process, I might buy a sewing machine and get into it more. Looking forward to learning from this group!

Welcome from Southern California! My first quilt was hand sewn and quilted also, until I got to the binding. That was sewn on by machine and then hand sewn to the back. It was my plan to do it all by hand, then I read the Amish consider it okay to use a treadle machine and still be call made by hand. (I was given my great-great aunt's treadle so it worked out well for me.)
